Senior Project Manager

We’re looking for someone with exceptional analytical skills to support our client service department and other senior managers in streamlining operations.

This will include revenue-driving projects associated with our core service offering, as well as supporting the MD on ad-hoc projects.

By breaking down complex tasks into clear and executable responsibilities, you will help us turn spreadsheets into gold. You will ensure that schedules, deliverables, and resources align so that all our work gets executed with the efficiency of a well-drilled card trick.

Duties & responsibilities

Your main role will be to ensure that we are making the most out of our client services department.

You will help us coordinate and be more efficient by:

  • Improving the profitability of our core service offerings by reducing inefficiencies in our processes and ideally championing automation
  • Driving end-to-end operational excellence, i.e. defining process, KPIs, measurement frameworks and calendars
  • Taking a data-driven approach to our operations and regular activities as well as defining reporting
  • Steer best practice sharing & adoption across functions, teams and departments to create a unified approach
  • Deep dive into scalability of our practices and make actionable recommendations
  • Help us operationalise scalable processes and ways of working
  • Be an agent for change and drive continuous iterative improvement
  • Drive individual project work-streams in the relevant area
  • Assign and schedule tasks
  • Build a team, manage the team members and budgets
  • Prepare and monitor schedules and budgets
  • Oversee quality control on project deliverables
  • Keeping ahead of project risks or issues
  • Reviewing project performance —  and suggesting improvements.

Skills that will make you the perfect fit

  • Ideally 5+ years of experience in a digital marketing agency
  • Working knowledge of SEO/digital marketing
  • Proven track record of driving impact through change management and introduction of new processes in a matrix organisation
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects at once with a high level of commitment and great prioritisation skills
  • Experience improving efficiency and therefore profitability
  • Self-starter with a strong proactive nature
  • Strong problem solver that goes beyond the obvious
